I am a Psychologist from Universidad Diego Portales, and I hold a Master’s degree in Education from Harvard University. I served as the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the Universidad of Americas for six years, where I gained experience in academic management, quality assurance, and leadership in the institutional and career accreditation process. As Dean, my hallmark was the design and implementation of the Community Intervention Program, a model for community engagement and civic education integrated into the undergraduate curriculum of Health, Architecture, and Social Sciences programs. Prior to my deanship, I worked on the development of policies and programs promoting the development of children and adolescents with a focus on equity and human development at the national level in the Ministry of Health and internationally at the Pan American Health Organization in Washington D.C.
