Full Scholarship
The Universidad Diego Portales offers full scholarships for doctorate students, which include a monthly stipend of $766,000 for the entire four-year duration of the program and zero tuition fees.
To qualify for the UDP scholarship, applicants must be accepted into the doctorate program. The scholarships are awarded to students who rank in the top two positions in the admission merit list.
Doctoral candidates are also required to apply for the ANID scholarship, and to support them in the application process, the General Directorate of Research and Doctorates conducts an annual workshop with students accepted in the UDP doctoral programs. During this workshop, the application guidelines and general criteria to be considered while completing the required documentation are reviewed.
During the mandatory research stay abroad, UDP scholarship recipients receive additional financial support, bringing their stipend to the same amount they would receive as ANID scholars.
Furthermore, after successfully passing the qualification exam, UDP offers the scholarship recipients the position of Adjunct Instructor, granting them access to all the benefits defined for this category within the University, such as monetary incentives for publications in indexed journals, travel support, among others.
Tuition Fee Scholarship
The Universidad Diego Portales provides tuition fee scholarships that cover the full annual amount for the four-year duration of the doctorate program.
